How to roll out DMARC safely

Start with p=none and a valid rua address to collect reports without affecting mail.
Add the TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain.com in your DNS.
Review reports for a few weeks until your legitimate sources pass SPF and DKIM.
Move to quarantine, then reject once reports are clean. Confirm with the DMARC checker.

DMARC builds on SPF and DKIM, so make sure those are in place first.
